Graduate survey outcomes – Updated and improved dashboard now live

The Graduate survey dashboard has now been updated and published with 2020 data. The dashboard has been simplified for easier navigation and now consists of the following pages:

  • Summary
  • Response rates, location and benefit of qualification
  • Learning experience; qualification evaluation
  • Employment profile
  • Current study
  • Net Promoter Scores
  • Skills acquired
  • Priority group variances (one page per priority group)

The is valuable data for the interim PEPs currently underway.

If you don’t have accesss to Power BI, check-in with your team who your users are and they can pull this info for you

 

Brief summary of outcomes from 2020 wave

In the 2020 wave, the percentage employed dropped by 8% and the percentage in higher study increased by 4%, resulting in a 3% decrease in the percentage GESC when compared with 2019. The relevance of qualification to employment also dropped 2% from 2019 to 77% in 2020. More year on year comparisons are outline in the graphic below.

Note: Institute level measures are weighted to factor in the % of respondents in different gender and Māori/Pacific groups

A full report on the findings from the Graduate Survey is currently being compiled and will be presented in due course.
