2.1 That the PAQC approve the Social Practice PAQC Membership 2020

  1. That the PAQC approve the Social Practice PAQC Student Representatives for 2020

PAQC Student Reps – The decision was made last year that the student reps for PAQCs would be appointed from among the class student reps within the programmes represented in your PAQC. Finding students who can act as members of the PAQC is expected to be managed by PAQC Chairs/APMs. Once located, the Chair can make the appointment under the PAQC Terms of Reference. There is no need to seek other endorsement for the appointment. Student Reps (2) will be paid for their work on the PAQC.

2.2 Grade Approval

2.3.1 That the PAQC approves the Type One Change Application for the following NZCHW

  1. New Zealand Certificate in Health & Wellbeing Level 4
    1. HCSP4406 Mental Health & Addiction Support A Level 4 20 credits
    2. HCSP4411 Social Services Practicum A Level 4 20 credits
    3. HCSP4421 Community Facilitation Practicum A Level 4 20 credits
    4. HCSP4407 Mental Health & Addiction Support B Level 4 30 credits
    5. HCSP4412 Social Services Practicum B Level 4 30 credits

3.1 Mātauranga Maori and Priority Groups

Mātauranga Māori can be defined as ‘the knowledge, comprehension, or understanding of everything visible and invisible existing in the universe’ 

Action Areas: 

  • Increase MM stair casing strategies via team workshops
  • Social Practice to apply a Team approach across all programmes for
  • All staff to Support Priority Champions set up for the Priority Groups
