2.1 PAQC Membership 2020

That the committee approve membership for 2020

  2. Student Representatives– We have two student representatives, one from the Bachelor of Applied Technology and the other student from New Zealand Certificate in Electrical Engineering. [Confidentiality Agreement]
  3. Staff member from another discipline to join Electrical and Applied Technology PAQC- It is proposed that we have a member from the School of Trades and Services to join our PAQC.

2.2 Grade Approval

2.2.1 That the committee approves the SKILLS Year 2 grades

2.2.2 That the committee retrospectively approve the missing grades from 2019 for the Bachelor of Applied Technology and Skills programmes.

2.3 Delegated Authority

2.3.1 That the committee discusses and approves delegated authority for the following processes

Cross Credits  
Grade Management (Change of Grade)  
Admissions (VOE, Study Plan)  
Graduation Sign off  

2.3.2 That the committee discusses and approves the Grade Approval Committee.

Through the terms of reference, it is suggested that the committee comprises of:

  • The Academic Programme Manager
  • PAQC Chair and/or PAQC Deputy Chair (or their delegate)
  • Academic staff responsible for grade input for courses allocated to the sub-committee (voting members as determined by the need of each sub-committee)
  • Administrator, Academic Quality for the Programmes (non-voting member)
