The Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) is running a series of ITP Roadmap 2020 events across the sector and they will be visiting us on Thursday 28 June. Come along to room 115-2017 at our Mt Albert campus from 11.15 to 12.15 to find out more about the ITP Roadmap challenges and process, contribute your feedback and ask questions of the TEC representatives there.
There will also be sessions for students and community stakeholders later the same day.
The TEC has established the ITP Roadmap 2020 project to work with the ITP sector, and wider community to identify options for change in response to the significant financial challenges that the sector is facing.
The project will:
- investigate the underlying causes of financial sustainability challenges facing ITPs
- identify how different kinds of changes would affect the financial position of ITPs, and
- analyse options for the organisation of the ITP network to make it sustainable and agile.
There is no pre-determined solution – everything is on the table for consideration.
