Auckland Transport is upgrading Carrington Road to support local housing development. The upgrade will make Carrington Road safer and more accessible, increase its capacity and provide people with improved travel options.
As we plan for construction from Autumn 2026, we’re considering different ways to complete the work. There are faster and slower construction options, with different impacts on noise, detours and journey times. We want to hear what’s important to you as we weigh these trade-offs.
