Unitec, partnered with NZ Blood, are hosting a blood typing event for our ākonga and kaimahi to come and discover their blood type. This event aims to raise awareness about the importance of knowing one’s blood type and the significance of blood donation. Participants will learn more about the different blood types, the blood donation process, and its impact on saving lives.
Highlights:
- Discover your blood type: Get to know your blood type through a quick and easy blood typing process conducted by trained professionals.
- Learn about blood donation: Gain insights into the importance of blood donation, how it saves lives, and who can donate.
- Register for the Unitec Blood Drive: Interested individuals can sign up to donate blood for the upcoming Unitec Blood Drive, contributing to a noble cause and making a difference in the community.
- Interactive sessions: Engage in interactive sessions and Q&A with healthcare professionals to address any queries or concerns regarding blood typing and donation.
