Transitioning from Chaos to Calm webinar

Tuesday 15 August, 3.00 – 3:30pm

Many roles involve multi-tasking. Usually, we do not spend a conscious moment moving from task to task, but by the end of the day, we ask ourselves where the day went and how we managed to get through. This session is designed to provide you with approaches to transition from a state of chaos to feeling calmer throughout a workday by weaving conscious transitions between tasks and activities at work. This month’s action is altruism and you are warmly invited to join the global movement of people taking action to create a kinder and happier world together. Carrying out acts of kindness, whether small or large, also increase our own general sense of wellbeing.

Internal resilience boosting offerings

·         The exercises listed here are inspired by experience gained through attending numerous wellbeing and resilience workshops. Most can be incorporated into your regular team meetings. But the list is by no means exhaustive. Please get in touch if something like this is needed for your team and we will customise activities/a  workshop.

·         Once you sign up to this Te Pūkenga platform, you will have access to learning modules and articles written by psychologists. For example, this challenge helps you clarify your values, so that you can use them as compass when navigating change. And here are the articles with useful info on resilience and managing stress.

External support – advisory and counselling

Sometimes it helps to talk things through with people who are professionals and outside our family and social circles. There are two independent services that can help you with counseling, personal and legal advice, and finance management, not just your career and work-related issues.
