Extension of deadline for Takitahi, reviews and ADEPs

Acting DCE People and Culture, Julie McGregor, sent this message last week:

Te Pūkenga Operational Design will be confirmed in the coming months, followed by a clearer focus on the direction and goals for our mahi as part of Te Pūkenga whānau. While we await this confirmation, our Executive has agreed that our 2022 Unitec Takitahi and Action Plan will continue through 2023, with a few adjustments as needed for each team.

Extending our Unitec Takitahi and Action Plan to cover the 2022-2023 period

We recognise that there are lots of unknowns for the year ahead. Over the next few weeks, we ask that leaders revisit your team’s 2022 Action Plans and adjust them slightly for this year, keeping them relatively high level and focusing on key priorities.

Now is the time for teams to discuss your clear direction for the months ahead, while maintaining focus on core business and Te Noho Kotahitanga.

Likewise, ADEPs for 2023 should be relatively high level and focused on selected key priorities.

A reminder that until Te Pūkenga network-wide initiatives are announced, we are continuing with the great initiatives we have put in place over the last few years to support our staff and students, such as Performance Partnering, I See Me and Hāpai Ō.

Deadline extended for reviewing 2022 ADEPs and writing 2023 ADEPs

The deadline to complete everyone’s 2022 Reviews, 2022 Badges and 2023 ADEPs has been extended to 31 March 2023. Please prioritise this mahi so we can complete our ADEP cycle and begin the new year with clear goals and direction.
