Please join us at the Unitec Excellence Awards 2022 Celebration – and wear a costume from your favourite decade from the 70s to now!
It’ll be a day of celebrating our people and the exceptional work they’ve done to support Unitec and the success of our learners. In light of our move to Te Pūkenga, we’ll also be acknowledging Unitec’s journey so far – looking back as we move forward.

Registration essential
To make sure we can seat and cater for everyone, you will need to register. While we don’t have tickets this year, you’ll sign in as you enter.

‘Through the Decades – 70s to now’ theme
Unitec began in 1976 and as we embark on the next chapter in our journey, we’re celebrating where we’ve come from and where we’re heading – so let your hair down, have a boogie and share some laughs with your colleagues. Dress to reflect your favourite decade, from the 1970s to now. Bands, sportspeople or just your pick of the fashion looks of the time – choose your outfit – either on your own or with your team – and enjoy the day!
Best-dressed prizes
There will be prizes in two categories: Best-dressed team (one winner) and best-dressed individuals (two winners). We’ll share a few ideas on Yammer in the lead-up to the awards so check-in there for some inspiration.
Don’t forget – you must RSVP and will be checked in on entry. Once registered, we will follow up with your confirmation within the week.
