Student Complaint Investigators – Call for 2022 Volunteers – Please consider expanding your skills and supporting this important student process

Kia ora Unitec whanau,

We are hoping to form a pool of 2022 investigators for our Student Complaints process. This is an opportunity to expand your skills and take part in an important service that helps provide resolution and outcomes to students and often requires a third impartial party to do some investigating on behalf of Heads or Schools, Managers and Directors. You may be called upon three or four times throughout the 2022 year, depending on demands and we will always check in around work load prior. The role will come with training and support from Student Success, who administers the process, and is a great development opportunity for your 2022 ADEP.

Some key skills we are looking for in our investigators:

  • Confidentiality
  • Ability to remain impartial
  • Proactive in supporting and following the process of investigation
  • Timely – can adhere to timelines as set out by procedure
