We’ve recently launched an exciting new initiative: the PhD Leaders Programme, designed to grow participating staff members’ research leadership capability and output productivity via PhD pursuit.
Facilitated by Dr Helen Gremillion, Research Professional Development Liaison from our Research and Enterprise Office, the programme supports PhD candidates who will be working on projects within the next PBRF audit period (2018-2023), that are significantly industry or community engaged. Our aim is to grow our research leadership talent and uplift our research culture.
Following an open call process for applicants in December and interviews in February, with a focus on the participant’s potential to form highly capable as well as externally partnered and funded research teams, and to provide research mentorship for other staff members.
Research time release and professional development opportunities are made available to the programme participants.
