Unitec whānau get taste of B108

Unitec whānau were treated to a tasty barbecue hosted by our wider leadership group followed by a tour of Building B108 before the Easter Break.

The project has been underway for more than two years, but the end is nigh as the last remaining stages near completion. Electrical Engineering returned to the building this semester, followed by painting and decorating apprentices doing courses under the BCITO, and Creative Industries will follow later this year.

The new facilities are a significant boost to the Unitec campus and will offer our ākonga modern purpose-built, industry-standard facilities. Thank you to everyone for their mahi on the day.

it was a good opportunity to see all the hard work going into creating classrooms for our ākonga. It was also good to have a sausage and a chat with whānau across Unitec. Thanks
